Behind the Defences

Behind the Defences is a photograph taken at Aberthaw in South Wales and shows a line of large concrete blocks forming a wall between the shingle and rock beach and the area's farmland. The colorful patchwork of yellow rapeseed flowers and the adjoining green fields adds a stark contrast to the drab grey concrete blocks. The area is part of the Heritage Coast.
