Worms Head and the Helvetia

This is a photograph taken at Rhossili on the Gower Peninsula. In the foreground is what is left of the wreck of the Helvetia, a ship which was wrecked by a storm in 1887. Worm's Head can be seen in the distance, so called because Viking invaders thought that it looked like a giant sea serpent and named it Wurm meaning dragon.
